instead of using actual spray cans…some artist are just cleaning dirt off of certain areas to make their masterpieces. and they are calling it reverse graffiti. kind of brilliant.
why is this not happening everywhere?
this is actually brilliant

Cheonggye Stream in old Seoul. The city tore down the elevated highway once covering this area and daylighted the stream.
Awesome photo! Thanks for the submission!
Great urban revitalization model.
Wow, well, here’s the ultimate in repurposing, I think:
The Bios Urn project reintroduces the human being to the natural circle of life. …
Bios is a mortuary urn made from biodegradable materials: coconut shell, compacted peat and cellulose. Inside it contains the seed of a tree.
Once the urn is planted, the seed germinates and begins to grow. The seed can be changed for a different type of seed or plant more adequate to the chosen planting place, if need be.
Magnetized flower pot halves can be stuck together with window glass between them.

Barreau&Charbonnet’s Volet Végétal is a drawbridge-like urban gardening system that lets apartment-dwelling greenthumbs extend their window plots in a striking and mess-free manner.
Bonus: The entire framed piece can be removed and placed upright on a floor (e.g., in the event of bad weather).
Fans of small-space living and/or admirers of cleverly designed products will appreciate the space-maximizing design of this “balcony table.”
